Basketball Recap: Rancho Verde Now 9-2 over Last 11 Games

Rancho Verde hadn't done well against Poly recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Rancho Verde Mustangs came out on top against the Poly Bears by a score of 59-48. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Bears on January 7th, they had to take a 61-52 loss.

Rancho Verde has also been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Poly, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 15-9.

Rancho Verde will take on San Diego in a tournament on Saturday. As for Poly, they will head out to take on Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
