Volleyball Recap: Spokane Beats School of the Ozarks for Their Third Straight Victory

Spokane waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the School of the Ozarks Patriots by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Friday.

Makenzie Melton paced Spokane's offense, picking up seven kills. Melton got some help from Callie Terrell and her 17 assists. Terrell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Despite the loss, School of the Ozarks saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ashlynn Saffle had ten digs.

Spokane's victory bumped their record up to 22-4-3. As for School of the Ozarks, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-7-6.

Spokane wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Russellville on the 11th. As for School of the Ozarks, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Greenwood on the 13th.
