Softball Recap: Englewood Falls to Wolfson in First Game of Season

Englewood unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 23-3 to the Wolfson Wolfpack on Thursday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Englewood saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ciara Hoey, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

The win made it two in a row for Wolfson and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Englewood will host Andrew Jackson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wolfson, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Eagle's View at 6:00 p.m. Wolfson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 16 runs per game this season.
