Basketball Recap: Ravenwood Takes a Loss

Ravenwood lost against Franklin back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Ravenwood Raptors took a 70-51 bruising from the Franklin Admirals. While losing is never fun, the Raptors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 117th, while the Admirals are ranked 15th).

Ravenwood's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Franklin, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Ravenwood has already played their next matchup (against Independence), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Franklin will head out to square off against Nolensville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Nolensville has won seven straight at home, while Franklin won six straight on the road dating back to last season), something that'll have to change.
