Basketball Recap: Lyndhurst Takes a Loss

Lyndhurst lost against Rutherford back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lyndhurst Golden Bears fell 42-33 to the Rutherford Bulldogs.

Lyndhurst's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Rutherford, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Lyndhurst and Rutherford should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. Lyndhurst (ranked 161st) will meet Bogota (ranked 337th) at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Rutherford will take on New Milford at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday up 236 places (59 vs. 295).
