Basketball Recap: Midland Takes a Loss

Midland lost against Guy-Perkins back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs were outmatched by the Thunderbirds and fell 63-16.

Midland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Guy-Perkins, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-7.

Midland and Guy-Perkins will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Mustangs see the court they'll take on Concord at 4:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for Guy-Perkins, their break will end when they face Des Arc at 6:00 p.m. on the 30th.
