Softball Recap: South Windsor Bobcats vs. East Catholic Eagles

The home team had come away the winner the last seven times South Windsor and East Catholic had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bobcats fell 4-1 to the Eagles on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-4 back in April.

South Windsor saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daphne Specht, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

South Windsor's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for East Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. South Windsor is set to take on their familiar foe RHAM at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, East Catholic will square off against rival E.O. Smith/Tolland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
