Softball Recap: Phillips Exeter Academy Wins Going Away Against Pingree

The Phillips Exeter Academy Lions got the win against the Pingree Highlanders on Friday by a conclusive 20-1.

Paris Tran (2026) and Regan Coco (2027) made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Tran (2026) pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Coco (2027) kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. At the plate, Tran (2026) scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Coco (2027) scored three runs while going 1-for-5.

In other batting news, Ella Shea (2026) was incredible, going a perfect 5-for-5 with five RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Paige Sweet (2026), who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
