Harding County extended the longest winning streak in Little Moreau (9 Man) this week by beating Lemmon/McIntosh, 48-12. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Ranchers.
Bison took down Edgemont 52-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Daniel Chapman threw for 424 yards and eight touchdowns and ran for 35 yards in the win.
Wil Kolb was the best wideout in the league this week as the Cardinals bested the Moguls. Kolb racked up seven receptions for 159 yards. Seth Buer helped Bison's passing attack out by catching two balls for 88 yards.
Jess Feist was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 129 yards on 14 carries as Harding County topped Edgemont. Teammate Steven Koch added to the ground attack by rushing for 106 yards.
6-foot-1 quarterback Chapman of the Cardinals is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1561. He has also thrown 22 touchdowns. On the ground, Jay Wammen's team's Feist has rushed for 774 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Ckyler Floyd. The Harding County star has 39 catches for 608 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Faith and the Ranchers. The Longhorns enters the game ranked 19th in the state, while Harding County ranks 15th.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Faith takes on the Ranchers. Trevor Grueb's team has allowed 38 points this season, while Harding County has given up 31. The Longhorns allowed 6 points last week as they beat Newell.
Bison led the league in scoring this week after putting up 52 points on the Moguls. Chapman in the win.
