Softball Recap: Taconic Hills Titans vs. Lansingburgh Knights
Taconic Hills extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 8-5 in the process. They fell 3-0 to the Lansingburgh Knights. If the Titans were looking for revenge after losing 14-8 to the Knights when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kaylin Brazie spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on two hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
As for Lansingburgh, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games.
On Lansingburgh's side, not much got past Guiliana Patregnani, who gave up just two hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Taconic Hills off the board.
On the hitting side, Kyleigh Wilmott was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Patregnani, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Taconic Hills will welcome Germantown at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lansingburgh, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
