Volleyball Recap: Steele Canyon Comes Up Short

Steele Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the El Capitan Vaqueros. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vaqueros this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

While Steele Canyon ultimately came up short, they really made El Capitan work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-23, 26-24, 23-25, 15-11.

Steele Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for El Capitan, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 21-13.

As of now, neither Steele Canyon nor the Vaqueros have any future games scheduled.
