Baseball Recap: St. Johns Redwings vs. Lakewood Vikings
St. Johns was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-9 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lakewood Vikings. That's two games in a row now that the Redwings have lost by just one run.

Nicholas Schafer was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He is becoming a predictor of St. Johns' success: when he allows at most one hit the team is 4-2 (and 3-9 when he doesn't).
