Basketball Recap: Samson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Samson lost against Wicksburg back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 54-51. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loss or not, Samson got some senior leadership from Tyler Lamb and Kelin Hornsby. Lamb dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten rebounds, while Hornsby posted 20 points and five boards. The game was Hornsby's third in a row with at least 20 points. Ben McKenzie was another key player, putting up three points and 11 boards.

Samson now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Wicksburg, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Samson will welcome Zion Chapel at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Wicksburg has already played their next contest (against Daleville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
