Football Recap: Swampscott Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Swampscott won against Gloucester last Friday with 28 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Big Blue came out on top against the Winthrop Vikings by a score of 28-20. The Big Blue have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Swampscott pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.8 points on average over those games. As for Winthrop, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
