Concord Academy skates past SouthLake Christian Academy with ease

The Concord Academy Eagles entered their tilt with SouthLake Christian Academy with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Concord Academy claimed a resounding 80-23 victory over SouthLake Christian Academy at home. Fans of Concord Academy have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Concord Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Samantha Meyers out in front who scored 18 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 steals. Meyers is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Aaliyah Mack, who scored 18 points.
Concord Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for SouthLake Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
Concord Academy will head out on the road to face off against Asheville Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Asheville Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Tuesday. As for SouthLake Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Westminster Catawba Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
