Soccer Game Preview: Kettering vs. West Bloomfield

The Kettering Captains will head out to square off against the West Bloomfield Lakers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Kettering will be strutting in after a win while West Bloomfield will be coming in after a loss.

Kettering barely beat South Lyon the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Captains never let the Lions get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for Kettering.

West Bloomfield kicked off their season on the road two weeks ago and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against Mott, falling 8-1.

Kettering now has a winning record of 2-1. As for West Bloomfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Kettering might still be hurting after the 4-0 loss they got from West Bloomfield in their previous meeting back in April of 2019. Can the Captains avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
