Volleyball Recap: Archbishop Mitty Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Santa Cruz

Archbishop Mitty faced Santa Cruz in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Monarchs fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 3-2. The Monarchs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Archbishop Mitty couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Santa Cruz a tough time in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 28-30, 25-15, 21-25, 15-13.
