Softball Recap: DeSoto Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for DeSoto's offense. They came up short against the Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes on Tuesday, falling 20-0. The Eagles' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

DeSoto's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Duncanville, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 13-2-1.

Coming up, DeSoto will venture away from home to face off against Horn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Horn is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season. As for Duncanville, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 13-0 win against Lancaster on the 12th.
