Basketball Recap: DMLK Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when DMLK challenged Robert F. Smith STEAM Academy on Thursday. The DMLK Panthers took a 45-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Robert F. Smith STEAM Academy Lions. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 63-56.

Jackson Taylor continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Robert F. Smith STEAM Academy, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and 14 rebounds. Taylor is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last 11 games he's played. Antione Smith was another key player, putting up nine points.

DMLK's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Robert F. Smith STEAM Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-15.
