Volleyball Recap: Tintic Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Tintic lost against Tabiona last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Miners took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

The final score came out to 25-22, 14-25, 25-9, 25-21.

Tintic's offense was headlined by Kendall Snell and Jordan Conder, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Kyah Farr and her 15 assists. Finally, Snell was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Tabiona's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kayela Gines, who had 18 assists and six digs. Gines is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Tintic has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-8 record this season. As for Tabiona, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-11.

Tintic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tabiona, they will face off against Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
