Softball Game Preview: Conrad Science Red Wolves vs. Concord Raiders

The Conrad Science Red Wolves will take on the Concord Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Conrad Science is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Delaware's top teams: Wilmington Charter, who was ranked 23rd at the time (Conrad Science was ranked fourth). The Red Wolves never let the Force get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Tuesday. The Red Wolves have beaten the Force the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Force has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Concord hadn't done well against Wilmington Charter recently (they were 0-6-1 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Raiders were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Force.

Concord's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Conrad Science, their win bumped their record up to 13-1-1.

Conrad Science couldn't quite finish off Concord when the teams last played back in May of 2025 and fell 9-7. Can the Red Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
