Soccer Game Preview: Auburn vs. North

The Auburn Rockets will take on the North Polar Bears at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Auburn's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Auburn is headed into the match having not lost since the 1st and will look to keep things rolling. They never let Uxbridge get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, North unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tantasqua Regional. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Auburn is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4-4 record this season. As for North, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3-5.

Auburn beat North by a goal when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 2-1. Will the Rockets repeat their success, or do the Polar Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
