Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Speedway). They never let the Monrovia Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Tuesday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Speedway's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 90th, while Monrovia are ranked 311th).

Speedway's offense was hitting Monrovia from everywhere, as nine different players booted in a goal. John Thomas led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The victory made it two in a row for Speedway and bumps their season record up to 9-4-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those two contests. As for Monrovia, their loss dropped their record down to 0-14.

Speedway has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 defeat against Roncalli on the 2nd. As for Monrovia, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 9-0 loss against Martinsville on the 1st.
