Volleyball Recap: Jones County Coyotes vs. Wall Eagles
Jones County was the 3-1 winner over Wall when they last played one another on October 1st, but their luck changed this time around. The Jones County Coyotes fell just short of the Wall Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Jones County actually scored more points across those three sets (67-66), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 16-25, 25-21.
Wall was led to victory by Brittney Walker and Lucy Moon. Walker had 13 digs and three aces, while Moon had 14 digs. Moon is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last nine games she's played dating back to last season.
Jones County's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Wall, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-13.
Jones County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Harding County on the 19th. Wall has also already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Faith on the 19th.
