Baseball Recap: Connell Takes a Loss

Connell lost to Cashmere on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles lost 15-2 to the Bulldogs. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Connell saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tucker Thomasson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Connell's loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Cashmere, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 16-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Connell will square off against Royal at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Knights have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Cashmere, they will challenge Wahluke at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Warriors have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
