            The Rangely Panthers and the Frontier Academy Wolverines will compete for holiday cheer  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Rangely is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.6  points per game  this season.
Rangely's tournament run continued when they took on De Beque  on Saturday. Rangely took  a  44-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of De Beque. The  game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring  matchup so far this season.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from  Landon Bollinger, who  posted eight  points and eight  boards. He is  on a roll when it comes to  rebounds, as he's  now  pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's  played.  Clay Allred was another key player,  putting up five points along with seven  rebounds and five  steals.
 Even though they lost, Rangely  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with ten  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least nine  offensive rebounds in six consecutive  contests  dating back to last season.
 Meanwhile, the third road  matchup was the charm for Frontier Academy, as they earned their first road win of the season. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  63-60  win over Valley  on Tuesday.
 The  victory  got Frontier Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Rangely, they now  have a losing record at 2-3.
