It may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Delaware Christian ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They managed a 52-46 victory over the Fairfield Christian Academy Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 47-43 back in January.

Fairfield Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cayden Penha, who posted 16 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Hudson Harper, who scored 11 points.

The win made it two in a row for Delaware Christian and bumps their season record up to 10-12. As for Fairfield Christian Academy, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-15.

Delaware Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 38-27 defeat against Northside Christian on the 25th. Fairfield Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
