The Mission Oak Hawks''s three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 28-27 victory over Dinuba. The score was all tied up 13-13 at the break, but Mission Oak was the better team in the second half.

Mission Oak was led to victory by Daniel Gonzalez and Jacob Ramirez. Gonzalez threw for 282 yards and two touchdowns, while Ramirez picked up 136 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Dinuba's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Diego Tuttle, who rushed for 148 yards and a touchdown. Julian Ramirez also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.

Mission Oak's victory bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Dinuba, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 5-5.

Mission Oak will be playing in front of their home fans against Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dinuba, they will head out on the road to face off against Kingsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kingsburg will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
