Baseball Recap: Nimitz Triumphs

Nimitz saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Sherman Bearcats.

Nimitz's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Sherman, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Nimitz didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-1 defeat against Creekview on the 22nd. As for Sherman, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Bearcats take on the Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
