Madison Highland Prep entered their match against Fountain Hills on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Madison Highland Prep Heat lost 55-33 to the Fountain Hills Falcons. The game marked the Heat's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Madison Highland Prep lost, don't look at Cade Carlstrom. Despite the final result, he went 5 of 10 en route to 11 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Oliver Morlan, who posted two points and seven boards.

Ahren Lloyd was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds for Fountain Hills. Those 24 points gave Lloyd a new career-high. Matthew Heaney was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 12 boards.

Madison Highland Prep's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-4. As for Fountain Hills, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-5.

Madison Highland Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 67-23 win against BASIS Phoenix on the 27th. Fountain Hills has also already played their next contest, a 79-26 victory against Scottsdale Preparatory Academy on the 28th.
