Baseball Recap: Handley Takes a Loss

Handley fell victim to Warren County and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 9-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-3 back in March.

Handley has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Warren County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-11.

Handley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Warren County, they have already played their next match, a 10-1 loss against Fauquier on the 23rd.
