Softball Recap: Johnson Creek Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Johnson Creek's win against Whitewater wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bluejays skirted past the Whippets 10-9. The victory was nothing new for the Bluejays as they're now sitting on three straight.

Libby Burbach and Madi Brigowatz did most of the damage at the plate: Burbach went 2-for-4 with one home run and five RBI, while Brigowatz scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. Taylor Buglass was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Johnson Creek lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Johnson Creek's record now sits at 3-1. As for Whitewater, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Johnson Creek will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Whippets: the pair will be back at it again later today.
