Baseball Recap: Brighton Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Brighton's offense. They came up short against the Chaparral Wolverines on Tuesday, falling 9-0. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Wolverines recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Brighton's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Chaparral, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Brighton will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Mountain Range at 6:30 p.m. The Bulldogs are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Chaparral, they will square off against Eaglecrest at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
