Baseball Recap: Cudahy Comes Up Short

Cudahy had lost four straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped down to 3-8 to make it five. They came up short against the Wilmot Panthers, falling 22-0. If the Packers were looking for revenge after losing 11-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in May of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Wilmot, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10. That looming 22-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

For Wilmot's part, Cash Panosian and Cooper Pappadakis did most of the damage at the plate: Panosian went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple, while Pappadakis went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Pappadakis has become a key player for the Panthers: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-10 otherwise. Easton Pye was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cudahy will venture away from home to face off against Augustine Prep at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Wilmot, they will head out to challenge Union Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
