Basketball Recap: Wells Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Wells had won two straight road games and Ashanti Clark did her part to make it three on Friday. The Wells Raiders put the hurt on the Clemente Wildcats with a sharp 44-20 win thanks in part to Clark, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten boards. Her evening made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of London Knox, who posted five points and six rebounds. Those five points gave her a new career-high.

Wells' victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Clemente, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Wells will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Kelvyn Park at 5:00 p.m. on January 22nd. As for Clemente, they will square off against Zion-Benton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
