Volleyball Recap: Schaumburg Christian's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Schaumburg Christian can now relate to. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stockton Blackhawks on Monday. The shutout was out of character for the Conquerors seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Elizabeth Tomasek paced Schaumburg Christian's offense, picking up three kills. Tomasek got some help from Eunice Cho and her six assists. Sarah Perfanov controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Stockton found their leader in sophomore Natalee Sullivan, who had ten digs and two aces.

Schaumburg Christian moved to 26-5 with that loss, which also ended their five-match winning streak. As for Stockton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-5 record this season.

Schaumburg Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stockton, they are on the road again on Friday to play Norris City-Omaha-Enfield at 9:00 a.m.
