Brantley took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Pike Liberal Arts, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bulldogs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Patriots on Tuesday, sneaking past 4-2. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Brantley's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-13. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.6 runs. As for Pike Liberal Arts, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brantley will face off against Ariton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pike Liberal Arts, they will square off against Goshen at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
