Softball Recap: Dixie Comes Up Short

Dixie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 12-0 to the Desert Hills Thunder. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunder this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 last Tuesday.

Dixie's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Desert Hills, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dixie will take on rival Cedar at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Desert Hills is set to face off against their familiar foe Crimson Cliffs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
