Basketball Recap: Charter Oak Comes Up Short

Charter Oak lost against West Covina back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Charter Oak Chargers fell 54-41 to the West Covina Bulldogs. The Chargers just can't catch a break and have now endured nine losses in a row.

Steven Julio continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for West Covina, almost dropping a double-double on 25 points and nine blocks. Those nine blocks gave Julio a new career-high. Jose Moreno was another key player, putting up five points along with seven boards and three steals.

Charter Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for West Covina, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season.

Charter Oak wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 67-39 loss against Wilson on the 23rd. West Covina has also already played their next match, a 49-45 victory against Northview on the 23rd.
