Volleyball Recap: Upper Cape Cod RVT Takes a Loss

Upper Cape Cod RVT was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Norfolk County Agricultural. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Upper Cape Cod RVT of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Upper Cape Cod RVT started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-22.

Nora Everett paced Upper Cape Cod RVT's offense, picking up six kills. Everett got some help from Nadia Prunier and her 23 assists. Daisha Nunez controlled things from the service line, finishing with 11 aces.

Among those leading the charge was Shivonya Scott, who had 11 digs and five aces. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Upper Cape Cod RVT's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Norfolk County Agricultural, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Upper Cape Cod RVT will head out to take on Wareham at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Norfolk County Agricultural, they will venture away from home to square off against Tri-County RVT at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
