Football Game Preview: Warren Lumberjacks vs. Gosnell Pirates + Official Tickets

The Warren Lumberjacks will square off against the Gosnell Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Warren knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Gosnell likes a good challenge.

Warren is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 42-23 victory over Gentry.

Jackson Denton was his usual excellent self, throwing for 351 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.5 yards per attempt. He has been hot, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last seven times he's played.

Warren didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Gentry to a completion percentage of just 45.2%. The Lumberjacks weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 57.7%.

Meanwhile, Gosnell put another one in the bag last Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Westside 60-7. That 53 point margin sets a new team best for the Pirates this season.

Warren's record is now 8-3. As for Gosnell, their record now sits at 10-0.
