Softball Recap: Butte Bulldogs vs. Flathead Braves
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Big Sky, Butte was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Flathead Braves a 1-0 shutout. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Not much got past Brea Henderson, who gave up just three hits and racked up eight Ks to keep Flathead off the board.
At the plate, Butte's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Allie Becker, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Becker has snagged this season.
