Rockford Auburn can't be to happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Friday. They had to suffer through a 48-6 loss at the hands of Hononegah. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Indians: they've now lost nine in a row.
Meanwhile, Harlem earned a 21-10 victory over Belvidere on Friday.
Dwayne Broom went supernova for Harlem, rushing for 83 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. Jahmani Muhammad also helped out as he racked up 123 rushing yards.
Harlem was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 335 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Belvidere only rushed for 44.
