Volleyball Recap: Cunningham Wildcats vs. Skyline Thunderbirds
Cunningham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Skyline Thunderbirds. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16.
Cunningham's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Skyline, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2.
Cunningham's road trip will continue as they head out to face Udall at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Skyline, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat vs. Attica on the 24th.
