Basketball Game Preview: Northshore Panthers vs. Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns

Northshore is 1-6 against Metairie Park Country Day since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Panthers will head out to face off against the Cajuns. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Northshore saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They fell 50-45 to De La Salle. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Metairie Park Country Day was just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 44-43 to Jesuit. The loss put an end to the Cajuns' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Metairie Park Country Day fell to 2-1. As for Northshore, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Northshore came up short against Metairie Park Country Day in their previous meeting on Tuesday, falling 56-50. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
