Basketball Recap: Uplift Infinity Prep Takes a Loss

Uplift Infinity Prep played a tough contest on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 59-13 loss at the hands of the UME Preparatory Academy EAGLES. Uplift Infinity Prep hasn't had much luck with UME Preparatory Academy recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

UME Preparatory Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Angel Alonzo, who posted ten points and five steals. Those five steals gave Alonzo a new career-high. Lemuel Moitinho Martinez was another key player, putting up ten points.

Uplift Infinity Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for UME Preparatory Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-7.

Looking ahead, Uplift Infinity Prep will be home for the holidays to greet Newman International Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for UME Preparatory Academy, they have already played their next game, a 50-40 win against Harvest Christian Academy on the 9th.
