The P.K. Yonge Blue Wave will head out on the road to take on the Coral Shores Hurricanes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. P.K. Yonge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.5 runs per game this season.

He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on AJ Putetti, who scored four runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last nine games he's played. Derek Ramos was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double.
Coral Shores always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Downtown Doral only posted an OBP of .190.
Coral Shores' victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for P.K. Yonge, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
Thursday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. P.K. Yonge hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .339.
