Sierra Canyon was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Kennedy on Wednesday. The Trailblazers were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Cougars. The Trailblazers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Sierra Canyon has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Kennedy, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sierra Canyon will head out to face off against Saugus at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Kennedy, they will take on Banning in a tournament on Thursday. The Cougars are facing the Pilots at the right time seeing as the Pilots are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
