Hartville is 7-0 against Liberty since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Hartville Eagles will welcome the Liberty Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Hartville will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Hartville picked up another tournament win last Friday. They managed a 42-37 victory over Bakersfield. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Lions are ranked 126th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Liberty scored the most points they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They fell to Norwood 68-64. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (56), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Hartville's win was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.1 points per game. As for Liberty, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Hartville strolled past Liberty when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a score of 72-58. Will Hartville repeat their success, or does Liberty have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
