Paige Smith continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Wakefield, scoring 21 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. That makes it four consecutive games in which Smith has scored at least a third of Wakefield's points. Allison Adams was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven assists and four steals.
Rural Vista [Hope/White City] dropped their record down to 3-12 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Wakefield, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.

As for Wakefield, they will head out on the road to square off against Herington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Wakefield focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday.
